Featuring stunning art by Jaume Illustration, a half-million word script by Meg Jayanth, original music by Laurence Chapman, and built using the same ink engine that powers our critically-acclaimed Sorcery! series, 80 DAYS is an interactive adventure created by your choices, on the fly, and is different every time you play.

Playing as Phileas Foggs loyal valet, Passepartout, you must balance your masters health, your finances, and the time, as you choose your own path from city to city all the way around the world. Bribe your way onto early departures, but dont let yourself go bankrupt or youll be sleeping rough and begging for aid! Trade items for profit, and collect the equipment for the conditions youll face: but too much luggage will slow you down...

80 DAYS is a breakneck race, with an in-game clock that never stops running. Trains, steamers, hot-air balloons, boats, camels, horses and more leave and arrive minute by minute.

Every city and journey is narrated via an interactive story where you control every action. Will your choices speed you up - or lead you into disaster? Will you earn Foggs trust and respect? Will you uncover the secrets and short-cuts that can shave days off your time? Murder, romance, rebellion and intrigue await!

The app is networked, with a feed that shows you the position of all the other players of the game, their routes, triumphs and disasters. You can race to be the fastest - or look ahead to learn the secrets of the world.

Share your own journey with friends, and load others routes directly into your app so you can race head-to-head.

80 DAYS is a complete experience, with no in-app purchases, and was made by a core team of just four people. If you enjoy it, please leave a rating, and check out our Sorcery! series.

Pros and cons of 80 Days app for iPhone and iPad

80 Days app good for

A truly fantastic, excellently written, anti-colonial and queer steampunk revision of Jules Verne! And not only that; its full of limitless permutations for your journey across the globe. The number of narrative possibilities on repeat playthroughs is simply staggering.
Yes, the app lives up to the description: a choose-your-own-adventure/strategy game with a time limit. No, it isnt the best. Its hard to explain. Basically, the app is everything everyone says it is and has; replay value and crisp graphics and lots of text for story telling. However, somehow it doesnt quite add up to the price. The text gets repetitive; and the trading system and health watch "gameplay" isnt much of a struggle. I prefer casual games; and if arcade games are up your alley this should automatically be a no-go. But to keep on playing it? To call it addicting? To say its worth $5 when most apps are $2.99? No, not quite. My recommendation? Get it on sale. I was an idiot and bought it on a whim. If you can wait for holiday season to role around, do it. If you enjoy it, all for the better right? But to me it was a bit too expensive for what its worth.
I definitely recommend this game!!! The art is gorgeous, the game descriptions are beautifully written and very evocative. The gameplay is intriguing: you buy and sell objects in order to fund your trip around the world. Which you must complete in 80 Days, despite cholera, pirates, terrorists and bandits!!
this is a great game, but you ll need to be quite good in english
... 80 Days will be perfect when more language supports will be added !
I Will add a star when You Will add french language .indeed ,this game is Very Nice but Very difficult to understand everything and to do the good choice .

Some bad moments

The game is completely unplayable as there are no instructions whatsoever. What a waste of money.
if you want to read I recommend the original book by Jules Vernes. This is more an interactive book than a game, and a bit boring at that. Not worth the money.
I would love to give this game a great rating, unfortunately it crashes seconds into reading the first sentence. Please help, so I can play this game. Or at least a full refund. Thank you.
Great premise but less than exciting implementation. Small text and slow pace is a bore. Too bad. Goodbye $5.
If you like plodding, youll love this game. Slow, restrictive, connect-the-dots game play. Frequently confusing. Restarted it several times before giving up. Needs an option to turn off the music. Other reviewers seem charmed but Im not. Why 2 stars? It has a certain quirky charm - points for that - plus the steampunk thing, which is kind of interesting but, cmon people, its dumb. This game isnt horrible but its not very interesting. I will be deleting it just as buying it deleted $5+ from me.
This game is fun and addictive; however I had to stop playing it since it drains my battery so fast. Wish there was a way to stop showing other people journeys because that RT updates are probably what is eating the battery so fast.
