Yes, the app lives up to the description: a choose-your-own-adventure/strategy game with a time limit.
No, it isnt the best.
Its hard to explain. Basically, the app is everything everyone says it is and has; replay value and crisp graphics and lots of text for story telling. However, somehow it doesnt quite add up to the price. The text gets repetitive; and the trading system and health watch "gameplay" isnt much of a struggle. I prefer casual games; and if arcade games are up your alley this should automatically be a no-go. But to keep on playing it? To call it addicting? To say its worth $5 when most apps are $2.99? No, not quite.
My recommendation? Get it on sale. I was an idiot and bought it on a whim. If you can wait for holiday season to role around, do it. If you enjoy it, all for the better right? But to me it was a bit too expensive for what its worth.
